WHY CHOOSE BALMIS?

This allowed him to initiate a widespread vaccination campaign across a large part of the new continent, saving thousands of lives. Today, we are more aware than ever of the importance of these scientists and their invaluable work. Francisco Javier Balmis from Alicante was one of these heroes, and this project pays sincere tribute to him.
